We have arranged for Alex Burnham, our Cyber Protect and Prepare Co-ordinator, to deliver a Fraud/Scam/Cybercrime awareness session for residents in and around the Barton area. The meeting is planned to occur on Monday 23rd February between 14:00 - 16:00 at Barton Library. This is open to anyone who would like to attend. This is a trial event to see whether this sort of event will be positively received by the community before we look to roll this out further. Please share this with residents who don't receive Smart Alerts but would be interested in attending the session. This session is relevant to all ages, and having listened to this talk a number of times I still come away with new updated bits of information that I can share with those I meet. I will be looking to attend as well so if you have any questions about local matters I should be around to offer advice and support (incidents permitting). We look forward to seeing you there. |
